Kenya Mount Selection Arabica Coffee (often grade AA) is known as a high-quality, premium Arabica grown in the highlands around Mount Kenya.
Key Characteristics:
Origin: The highlands of Kenya, rich in volcanic soils.
Altitude: Very high (1700-1950 m above sea level), which contributes to slow ripening and a rich flavor.
Flavor Profile: Bright, rich and complex. Often has a pronounced high acidity (citrus, wine or berry) and notes of blackcurrant, berries, fruits (e.g. pineapple, cranberry) and sometimes chocolate or black tea.
Processing: Usually washed, which gives the flavor a clean and bright taste.
Body: Full, rich texture.
Finish: Soft or wine-fruity.
