Dominican Arabica coffee is a refined coffee from the Caribbean region, known for its smooth, harmonious and balanced taste.
Key characteristics:
Flavor profile: Often notes of chocolate, nuts, caramel and vanilla are noted. Light fruity (apple, grape, citrus) or floral tones may be present, as well as notes of spice and tobacco (especially in the Barahona region).
Acidity: Usually low or moderate/light, making the drink very pleasant.
Body (saturation): Medium to full/thick, providing creaminess.
Aroma: Rich, often with chocolate, nutty, fruity or spicy notes.
Features: Mostly grown on small farms, often shade-grown and washed. The Barahona region is considered premium.
Ideal for daily use as it has a mild and unobtrusive nature.
