Ethiopia UG — freshly roasted arabica (per 100 g)

UG (Under Grade) in the context of Ethiopian Arabica means the lowest bean grade.
UG usually refers to coffee that does not meet the standards of the higher grades.
It is a commercial (non-specialty) Ethiopian coffee with more defects in the green beans than the higher grades (G1, G2).
Taste and aroma: less clean, less complex and less pronounced than premium Ethiopian Arabicas (such as Yirgacheffe or Sidamo). May have earthy or spicy notes, more bitterness and less pronounced acidity and fruitiness.
